Looking at this mellow
Elizabethan house you would think it an unlikely candidate for ghostly
happenings but it featured on Living TV’s ‘Most Haunted’ programme and
tales of highwaymen and murdered monks were aired! There are
also stories of a dog haunting one of the bedrooms. The present owners,
Peter and Elisabeth Prideaux-Brune, feel, however, that it is a very
happy house to live in.
