Visit one of Cornwall's most impressive family
homes with its origin and history firmly rooted in Elizabethan grandeur,
Georgian style and Victorian enterprise. Chart the progress of Prideaux
Place through the years, examine the artefacts and heirlooms on display
and marvel at the beauty of this impressive Cornish manor house. An
absorbing insight into the last 400 years.
During our normal opening times there are guided tours of the house
available. These do not need to be booked in advance. Tickets can
be obtained from Reception on arrival. The first tour is at 1.30pm
and the last at 4pm. Between these times the tours operate subject
to demand but are usually at 1/2 to 1 hour intervals and are of approximately
1 hour duration.
Groups should book in advance.
Fully licensed Terrace Tea Room for light lunches or Cornish cream
teas.
